1866 Winchester lever action musket, .44 rimfire caliber, 27” barrel, with all features as standard on musket, serial #35845. Near serial number range bought by state of Louisiana, and bought from a Louisiana collection. The barrel and magazine tube show traces of original blue drifted to a brown grey patina finish with scattered light to moderate erosion and surface pitting. The barrel address is light but legible, the frame and butt are good, with an even patina and show just slight wear at the edges, minor nicks, etc. The stocks are good with normal wear, small dings, and storage scratches, a couple of dents, mars, and weathering around buttplate, darkening, but generally good. The loading gate shows traces of original blue, action good, bore good. A fairly early ’66 musket. Est: $2,500 - $5,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
