<B>1866 H10C PR66 Cameo NGC.</B></I> The 1866 proof half dime was struck to the tune of 725 pieces. Nearly 400 specimens have been certified by NGC and PCGS combined. Only 20 or so examples, however, have been given the Cameo designation. The PR66 Cameo in this lot exhibits outstanding contrast on both sides, and is bathed in a delicate array of cobalt-blue, lavender, and gold-tan patina. Razor-sharp definition shows on the frosted motifs, and impeccable preservation characterizes the surfaces.
