<B>1866 5C Shield Five Cents, Judd-491, Pollock-578, Low R.7, PR64 Brown PCGS.</B></I> Five-cent pattern with an obverse similar to the adopted Shield nickel design, but the reverse features a "Dutch" numeral 5 inside a laurel wreath. Struck in copper or bronze with a plain edge. A well struck piece with deep lavender-brown patina. Devoid of contact, although a few specks of powdery verdigris are mentioned for accuracy.
