<B>1866 $10 XF45 PCGS.</B></I> As always seen, all four of the digits of the date show pronounced doubling from recutting. This reinforces the fact that only one obverse die was used to strike the paltry mintage of 3,780 pieces. This piece is above average for the issue and displays pleasing medium orange-gold color and slight softness of strike at the obverse border. There are a number of small marks on each side, but these do not interfere with the coin's overall desirable, bright appearance. A very scarce first year of issue for the With Motto design that is housed in an early PCGS holder with a green insert.
