1866 $1 Gold Indian NGC PF64 UCAM
The deeply struck, matte-like Ultra Cameo devices are draped in soft reddish-golden patina and show minimal imperfections, while the fields are glassy smooth with watery iridescence.

Only the one variety for 1866; few faint die file marks slant down to left from curl above and left of ear. Because of its low original mintage and consequent low survival numbers, an 1866 in this condition is in the upper reaches of the condition census. One of only 30 minted; about the same number of auction sales as the 1865, possibly slightly rarer. NGC #1937982-002.
