1865 STATE OF NEW YORK MILITARY RECORD - PRISONER'S DIVISION - Bureau of Military Record. Col. L. L. Doty, Chief of Bureau. Record reads in part "I was captured Oct. 29th 1864 at Seven Pines. Our Brigade made a charge on Rebel works about 4 oclock and were repulsed and wholly cut to pieces. The next day at 3 oclock suffered amputation of the right arm at teh shoulder joint in consequences of a wound recvd in the charge which shattered my arm terribly."

Any Bidder Whose Payment has Not been Received within 48 Hours will be Charged a $100 Collection Fee or 25% of their total, whichever is greater.
