<B>1865 3CN PR65 NGC.</B></I> The 1865 three cent nickel has a scant mintage of 500 pieces. This Gem example displays light golden-gray surfaces that portray a cameo-like effect when the coin is rotated beneath a light source. The design features are well impressed, and nary a mark is visible on either side. A small planchet defect is noted beneath the ED of UNITED.
