<B>1865 $2 1/2 PR63 Deep Cameo PCGS.</B></I> A few tiny contact marks and faint abrasions are visible in the fields of this pleasing proof. Exceptional contrast on both sides with rich orange color create a high degree of aesthetic appeal. Only 25 proof quarter eagles were coined, and probably just half survive today.<BR> The Smithsonian Institution has a Proof 64 Deep Cameo example that was coined in a medal turn alignment, opposite of the standard coin turn.
