This historic ANTI-SLAVERY Archive consists of Forty Newspapers including, Vol. 26, No. 14, August 12, 1865 to Vol. 27, No. 13, August 4, 1866. Each displays a large 6-column layout, 4 pages to each issue, published by the “Anti-Slavery Society.” This represents a very rare and intriguing historical primary source on the ongoing debate over Slavery in America which raged before, during, and even after the American Civil War. This run of theme newspapers actually covers both sides of the debate. Each issue is Signed on the front page of by the previous original owner and subscriber, “C.V.B.
