<B>1864 H10C PR67 Cameo NGC.</B></I> The 1864 is one of the key dates to the Seated half dime series. The business strike mintage was a modest 48,000 pieces, and that of the proofs a mere 470 coins. While nearly 300 proofs have been certified by NGC and PCGS, only about 30 specimens have been given the Cameo designation. The Superb Gem Cameo that we offer in this lot is one of the three finest! Its untoned surfaces reveal profound field-motif contrast and crisply impressed design features.
