<B>1864 2C Small Motto MS64 Red and Brown NGC.</B></I> The 1864 Small Motto is many times scarcer in the higher Mint State grades than the Large Motto pieces. This piece is one of 40 so graded at NGC, with 65 finer (7/07). The Large Motto, by comparison, shows 372 in MS64 Red and Brown, with 247 finer. Dusky smoke-orange patina covers the obverse, while much of the reverse is a muted red-orange.
