1864 25C Quarter Dollar, Judd-384, Pollock-452, Low R.7, PR64 PCGS. The obverse from a regular Seated Liberty quarter die is paired with the Anthony Paquet-designed reverse showing a perched eagle with outstretched wings holding an olive sprig and three long, slender arrows in its claws. The arrow shafts pass over the eagle's right (facing) wingtip. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. Lightly dappled chestnut patina ensures the originality of this beautifully struck and unabraded example.
