<B>1864 $20 AU55 PCGS.</B></I> Apricot coloration with deeper orange hues in the recessed areas of the devices. A couple of shallow field scratches, one below Liberty's chin, and the other above the nose, are the only distracting marks on this otherwise attractive coin. Only slightly more than 200,000 pieces were struck, since gold coins did not circulate except in the West, and examples were only required infrequently for export.
