<B>1864 1C L On Ribbon MS65 Red ICG.</B></I> The 1864-L is the first date in the Indian cent series that shows the distinctive L initial (for Longacre) on the ribbon at the base of the Indian's warbonnet. Scarce and worth a premium in all grades, full red examples are rarely encountered. The surfaces are warm and even red in color. There are no noticeable specks of carbon on either side.
