<B>1864 1C L On Ribbon MS64 Red NGC.</B></I> This is an attractive near-Gem cent with considerable numismatic appeal. It is a first-year example of the bronze Indian cent; a first-year representative with the L (for designer Longacre) on the ribbon at the bottom of Liberty's headdress; and it shows broad doubling on 18 in the date.
