1864 1C Judd-356, Pollock-426, Snow PT1-3b, R.6, MS65 PCGS. Well struck (except for the headdress details) and lustrous, with appealing mahogany-tan coloration, this scarce item has been carefully preserved and is free of grade-limiting surface distractions. A handful of flyspecks, in the left obverse field area near Liberty's face, are mentioned strictly for the sake of accuracy. This issue was struck in an alloy of 90% copper and 10% tin, assuming that the PCGS attribution is correct, and was one of many experimental varieties struck during the year. This specimen is the only example of Judd-356 to be identified as such in a PCGS holder. Population: 1 in 65, 0 finer (10/06).

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
