1864<1C> Bronze No L PR64 Red PCGS. Sharply struck with reflective fields and pleasing, if slightly milky toning. There are no noticeable hairlines, and the piece is seemingly kept from a full Gem grade by a couple of small marks located between Liberty's ear and cheekbone. Nevertheless, this is a desirable coin in all regards. The rarity of this first-year bronze proof is well known to the many collectors who specialize in this long-lived series. Population: 13 in 64, 11 finer (9/06).
