1864 10C MS64 PCGS. This is a fully prooflike piece, perhaps one of the first to escape the Mint's presses, without the die clashing seen on many issues of the date. The luster is complete, with noteworthy reflectivity in the fields. The surface markings are consistent with a business strike coin of the assigned grade, and the strike weakness noted on the left wreath end is consistent with that seen on other business strikes. Generally silver in color, with a light burgundy tint visible on the left side of the obverse. Housed in a first generation PCGS holder.

Coin Engraver: Christian Gobrecht

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
