Eight pages, 15.5" x 20.25", Volume XII, Number 3519, dated Saturday, January 3, 1863, center fold, appears to have been disbound from a larger compilation, with some slight tearing to the left side, mild foxing, else very good condition. A page five article includes the entire text of "President Lincoln's Proclamation", under the title "The Slaves in Arkansas, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina Declared to Be Free. Parts of Louisiana and Virginia Excepted.
