<B>1863 G$1 AU58 PCGS.</B></I> This Civil War issue is rare in all levels of preservation. PCGS and NGC have seen about 75 coins in all grades, mostly AU to Mint State, resulting from being hoarded during and after the War years. This AU58 specimen displays rich apricot-gold patina resting on a generous amount of luster. Excellent definition shows on the design features, enhancing the coin's eye appeal. Some minute circulation marks are located in the upper left obverse field, but these do not significantly detract.<BR><I>From The Pearl E.
