<B>1862 50C Half Dollar, Judd-296, Pollock-354, High R.6, PR64 Brown PCGS.</B></I> The obverse is the regular issue design for the 1862 Seated Liberty half dollar, while the reverse is similar to the regular issue design with the motto GOD OUR TRUST set directly onto the field above the eagle. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. The surfaces have taken on an even, medium brown patina with faint glimmers of red still visible when the coin is angled beneath a light. An exceptionally pleasing coin.
