<B>1862 50C Half Dollar, Judd-294, Pollock-352, Low R.7, PR66 Red and Brown NGC.</B></I> The obverse has the regular issue design for the 1862 Seated Liberty half dollar. The reverse is similar to the regular issue design with the motto GOD OUR TRUST on a ribbon in the field above the eagle. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. At least a dozen examples are believed known today of the copper strikings of this pattern. The fields are bright and highly reflective, and each side shows a significant amount of mint red intermixed with steel-gray.
