<B>1862 1C PR66 PCGS.</B></I> This is a visually delightful Premium Gem example of the most easily available proof copper-nickel Indian cent. According to Rick Snow, up to half of the original mintage of 550 pieces may still exist. This specimen is fully struck and displays captivating sunset-orange, lilac, and steel-blue coloration. No contact marks or hairlines exist on either side, but a small planchet void (as struck) is discernible just to the right of Liberty's nose.
