<B>1862 1C PR66 Cameo PCGS.</B></I> Ex: Richard. The 1862 is usually used as the type coin for the copper-nickel series. Even though its mintage was only 550 pieces, it was generally a much better produced coin than the 1860 or 1861. This is a lovely coin that has even, light honey-golden surfaces. Deeply mirrored, the devices show a substantial amount of mint frost which gives the coin a sharp cameoed contrast on each side. Scarce so fine.
