1861 G$1 MS67 PCGS. Coined at the beginning of the Civil War, this piece is one of the most plentiful Type Three gold dollars, the mintage slightly exceeding 500,000 coins. However, at PCGS only seven pieces have been graded MS66, and the present offering is the only MS67, with none finer. This is an exceptional coin, as one can easily infer from the grade. The fields show pronounced striations, but there is none of the reflectivity one would expect. Instead, the surfaces display thick mint luster over each side. The striking details are notable for their completeness, and there are no noticeable or distracting marks. Do not let this rare offering pass you by.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
