“The New York Herald” datelined New York, Sunday, 25 August 1861. Front page headline reads, “Another View of Bull Run Battle Field / The Rebel Plan of the Battlefield of Bull Run, Stone Bridge and Manassas Plain.” A large front page diagram displays the infamous battle movements of 18 July 1861. Paper contains numerous other articles concerning battles and the political climates. Paper measures 15” x 22”. Contains slight toning and foxing. Chipping present along margins, though not affecting text. Overall very good condition.
