<B>1861 $5 MS63 PCGS.</B></I> A satiny, subtly lustrous yellow-orange representative of this Civil War issue, surprisingly elusive in Mint State despite a mintage of 688,084 coins, the highest level for a half eagle since 1847. Both sides display solid definition. While the obverse has light, scattered abrasions that define the grade, the reverse is comparatively clean. Certified in a green-label holder.
