1861 3CS MS66 PCGS. The three cent silvers were among several coin denominations obliterated in the infamous "Crime of '73," but in 1861, at the start of the Civil War, they had not yet disappeared from circulation. Two years later, their mintages would never again exceed 25,000 pieces. This issue was made to the extent of nearly a half-million pieces. Beautiful jade-green and amber-gold patina graces this lustrous, delectable, and sharply struck Premium Gem. Population: 60 in 66, 22 finer (12/06).

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
