<B>1861 25C MS67 NGC.</B></I> Type Two Obverse, with shield lines above the E in LIBERTY. Type Two Reverse, with a convex eye on the eagle. The strike is razor-sharp, even on the eagle's ankles and Liberty's hair, which are sometimes soft on the various Seated types. This lustrous and only faintly toned Superb Gem has an immaculate obverse and only a few inconsequential ticks on the reverse shield and upper right field. A double pair of clashmarks is present near each of Liberty's arms, and also on the reverse between the left (facing) wing and the olive branch. QUAR DOL is lightly die doubled, visible primarily within the loops of the Q, D, and O.
