<B>1861 1C MS67 PCGS.</B></I> Exceedingly lustrous with spot-free, almost perfect surfaces. The strike is just short of complete, being a trifle soft at the tips of the first three feathers in the headdress, and the light tan obverse color takes on a slightly deeper hue on the reverse. The 1861 was the lowest mintage issue of the brief copper-nickel Indian type.
