<B>1860s-1870s New York Fire Insurance Document Collection</B></I> consisting of more than 25 documents (policies, receipts, etc.), all related to the estate of John H. Dykers. These range in size from about 8" x 5" up to 14" x 17". Most all are partly printed forms, filled in by hand with various U.S. Revenue stamps attached. Many have beautifully engraved vignettes and decorative borders. A number of different insurance companies are represented. Generally fine to very fine condition. These would look great matted and framed on the wall of an Insurance Agency! <I>From the Henry E. Luhrs Collection.</B></I>
