1860 Naval Cutlass by Ames with original scabbard and leather hanger. The blade shows a very light cleaning and some beginning erosion. The guard has been buffed and lacquered with a few dents now starting to chip. The leather wrap is good with some wear. The leather scabbard is good to very good and shows all of its brass rivets and hangar is also good. Markings, date are slightly light, no inspector marks on blade. Hugh Hayes Collection.
