1860 Henry rifle, first model, .44 Henry rimfire caliber, serial #1291. The rifle remains in very good original condition showing 10-20% original blue mixed in with a brown to grey patina on the barrel, somescattered light to moderate erosion and pinprick pitting and some minor spotting. The edges are sharp and barrel address crisp. The frame is sharp and shows a deep uncleaned honey patina. The lever and hammer showtraces of mottled case hardening. The stock is good, with some minor dings, mars, scratches, normal wear, and the buttplate matches the patina on the frame. The buttstock and buttplate are serial numberedto match. The small parts and sight are all original. A nice original gun and an early serial number. Est: $20,000 - $30,000
