1860 Henry rifle, .44 rimfire caliber, in good to very good condition, showing sling swivels. Serial #10350. The barrels show 10-20% original blue drifting to a light brown patina with scattered light to moderate erosion and pinprick pitting, showing just normal age. The barrel address is good, the edges fairly sharp. The frame is good with some small marks, good fit to the sideplates, and its original full dimensions. The hammer and lever show some pitting and traces of case hardening. The stock has been lightly refinished and is slightly undersized. The action is good, the bore is good. The gun works and would load properly. There is someblue on the firing pin and inside the hammer well. The bottom of frame is stamped with hand-held die stamps beneath the lever “E. S. Hearing”, which is an old stamp. Also stamped “9.12.1882”. Buttplate serial numbermatches to the stock. Est: $14,000 - $28,000
