<B>1860-C $2 1/2 AU55 NGC.</B></I> Variety 19-J. The 1860-C is the last quarter eagle struck at the fabled Charlotte Mint, and the first struck there since 1858. Although most examples show weakness on the reverse, this piece is surprisingly strong on both sides. All of the star centrils are present and most are bold, and on the reverse the only mentionable weakness is on the eagle's left (facing) leg.
