1860 Army Springfield-Richards conversion to .44 centerfire, US martially marked, 8” barrel, patina finish with traces of blue and case hardening, cartouche wood grips, Ainsworth inspected, serial #326. The barrel show strong traces of original blue, at least 5-10% within a grey brown patina, with some wear at the muzzle from being carried in a left-handed holster. There are some minor nicks and mars and some just beginning erosion and pinprick pitting, and some nicks around the edge of the wedge and wedge port area, and end of ramrod. The cylinder shows 65-75% original cylinder scene, the frame and hammer show strong traces of case hardening within a grayish patina. The wood stocks are very good and show an OWA cartouche on left, just some minor edgewear, a couple of dings, mars, but at least very good overall. The plug in rammer port is #326, the barrel lug is #326, #326 on bottom of barrel, loading gate, frame, trigger guard beneath percussion number 39167, and #326 on butt beneath ruminant under percussion number that is not legible. Also #326 on Richards plate. The barrel shows US marking over the left edge of wedge port and “A” inspections on barrel, triggerguard,
