1860 3CS PR64 PCGS. Walter Breen (1977) writes of the 1860 proof trime: "Survivors represent only a small minority of the original mintage (1,000 pieces). Some 538 sold ... the rest melted." Lilac and cobalt-blue patina covers both sides of this near-Gem, and a well executed strike brings up most of the design features, except for softness in some of the reverse stars and the leaves. A linear strike-through is located along the left border of the reverse. Population: 30 in 64, 6 finer (4/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
