<B>1860 $3 AU58 PCGS.</B></I> This well-defined three dollar gold piece has just a touch of friction that affects the highest parts of the design. While the peripheral zones exhibit slight reflectivity, the remainder of this honey-gold coin displays a more frosty texture. An attractive example with excellent overall eye appeal. Karl Stecher, Sr. purchased this piece from A.B. Burkholder for $6.50 during the 1930s. A Kraft envelope is included, with the inscriptions "1860 gold 3.00 ex.f. A.B.
