<B>1860<$20> MS62 NGC.</B></I> Along with the 1861, the 1860 is one of the few Type One issues that is available with any frequency in Mint State. This issue, however, is much scarcer than its 1861 counterpart, and in this grade and higher, the 1860 is nothing short of a condition rarity. The devices are boldly defined, and aside from a few copper spots near 6 o'clock on the reverse, the surfaces are a vivid yellow-gold. Highly lustrous with several long, light abrasions on the obverse that preclude a higher grade. Census: 11 in 62, 5 finer (9/06).
