<B>1860 $20 MS61 PCGS.</B></I> Despite a substantial mintage of 577,670 coins, the 1860 double eagle is very elusive in Mint State, and fewer than 100 uncirculated examples have been certified as such by NGC and PCGS combined. This piece is somewhat scuffy, but the luster is unabated and it seems to be free of wear. The bright surfaces feature a mix of green-gold and pink coloration.
