<Our item number 108910><B>1860 &#36;2.50 Liberty. Old reverse. PCGS graded MS-61.</B> Light golden toning. A rarity in this grade, bright orange gold patina in the fields and throughout the devices. The devices themselves were punched by the dies with such force and energy that all elements show clearly. A small mark on the back point of the bust, plus a few light abrasions in the fields consistent with MS61 criteria. Choice rims on either side. <B>Pop 1; 3 in 62; 4 in 64.</B> <B>&#40;PCGS # 97791&#41;</B>. <BR><BR>The old-style or Type 1 reverse of 1859-61 is most readily identified by the long arrowheads. This is from the hub of 1840-58, where the lowest arrowhead almost touches CA and the eagle&#39;s talons are closed. Breen, in his 1988 Encyclopedia, wrote &#34;Type I rev.
