<B>1860 $2 1/2 New Reverse, Type Two MS62 PCGS.</B></I> The more common of this year's two reverse varieties, with much smaller reverse arrowheads and letters than the Old Reverse style. This example is well struck and abrasion-free, with pleasing satin luster and a couple of brownish toning streaks on the upper obverse. Karl Stecher, Sr. purchased this piece for $4.25 from Hogan during the 1930s. An envelope with the inscription "1860 2.50 abt. unc Hogan 4.25" is included.
