<B>1859-S 25C AU55 NGC.</B></I> Tawny-gold toning embraces most of the obverse, although the right field is cream-gray. The reverse has lighter patina, but gentle gold and gray shades are also present. This briefly circulated rare date Seated quarter is smooth save for two subtle marks left of the beak. A mere 80,000 pieces were struck, and most survivors are in VF or lower grades.
