<B>1859<10C> PR64 Cameo PCGS.</B></I> The 1859 is the final proof issue of the Stars Obverse Seated dime. This Premium Gem is crisply detailed throughout and untoned, with substantial cameo contrast observed on both sides. A wispy lintmark is noted just below obverse star 7. Hairlines are minimal, but a shallow scratch above the lower reverse border at 6 o'clock prevents the Gem grade assessment. Still, an outstanding example of this scarce and underrated proof issue. Population: 13 in 64 Cameo, 4 finer (9/06).
