1858 Remington New Model, .44 caliber percussion revolver, martially inspected, blued finish, cartouched wood grips, serial #4740. The revolver remains in very good plus original condition showing 70-80% original blue, some flaking on the frame in front of barrel and backstraps, and areas where blue has flaked have gone to a light brown. The edges are sharp and crisp. Markings very crisp. The barrel shows a “D” inspection. The frame, cylinder show a “B” inspection. Rear of frame shows an “H” inspection. “OWA” inspection on the left grip cartouche with small “A”s on each bottom grip. Also “D” inspections on right side of barrel and trigger guard. The grips are very good plus to near fine, just some slight edge wear, minor marks, light wear at the edges, and 80% visible cartouche. The hammer shows 70% case hardening. The bore is bright. The pistol has seen little to no use. A crisp ’58 with complete inspections. Est: $1,400 - $2,800

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
