The Indian Cent obverse, nearly as issued in 1859. The reverse features an oak wreath and an ornamented shield; ONE CENT as always arranged at the center. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. Light golden-brown in color, this intricately struck example has flashy fields, and is impressive for the grade despite inconspicuous spots on the feather beneath the E in AMERICA and on the middle arrow head.
