<B>1858<P1C> Indian Cent, Judd-212, Pollock-256, 263, R.4, PR64 PCGS.</B></I> Snow PT-25, Die Pair 2. The obverse is similar to that of the regular issue Indian Head cent as adopted in 1859. The reverse, however, features a heavy and ornate scroll at the top separating the branches of an oak wreath. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. The denticles near the date are outlined, and a small, thin die line runs along the denticles to the right of the date. On the reverse, the arrow fletchings are separated from the shafts because of die reworking. This attractive piece offers tan-gold and copper surfaces with glints of green. Population: 38 in 64, 8 finer (7/06).
