<B>1858<P1C> Indian Cent, Judd-211, Pollock-262, R.4, PR64 PCGS.</B></I> Snow-PT26. The obverse of this popular pattern displays James Barton Longacre's Indian Head motif that appears on the production cent of 1859. The reverse, however, carries a thick oak wreath not unlike that which the Mint would mate with a shield for its 1860 cent production. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. The centered date, broad bust point Pollock variant of Judd-211. A nicely mirrored and nearly unabraded near-Gem with predominant honey-gold color. The obverse field has some dusky gray hues, and a tiny spot is above the 8 in the date. Population: 19 in 64, 3 finer (11/05).
