<B>1858-D G$1 AU58 NGC.</B></I> Variety 10-M. There is virtually no weakness on 85 in the date, and only RI in AMERICA displays a touch of softness. The dies are slightly misaligned, and broad machine doubling is evident on most of the design elements, but this is still a well produced coin for the Dahlonega Mint. There are some wispy hairlines and a few minute pinscratches in the fields. A moderate abrasion is noted on Liberty's chin.
