The lesser-known of two overdate varieties for the year, though described as "more rare" by Snow in his <I>Guide Book of Flying Eagle and Indian Head Cents</B></I>. Rather than the die dot above the first 8 and 5 of the date, this variant shows raised areas above and to the left of the upper part of the 1. This orange-accented mushroom-brown piece, luminous and lightly hairlined, also shows die doubling on the first few letters of UNITED.<BR><BR><B>Coin Engraver:</B> James B.
